Exercise Intensives
Exercise Intensives are a unique way we can organize programs. In general, more exercise is better and often our members experience more improvement with 5 exercise sessions when they happen over the course of 5 days, instead of a few weeks.
This research study by Frazzitta et al, 2015 is a great example of that! See below!
We have a few ways we can do exercise intensives:
Exercise Classes, high frequency for a certain period of time. Since we have classes 5-6 days a week, our member could come to 5 days a week for exercise, 1-2 hours per day (similar to the study above!). The cost of a program like this would be $420 for the month for unlimited exercise classes.
A 1 week intensive, would include 1:1 exercise sessions each day, Monday through Friday, and can include exercise classes either as part of our members current exercise schedule, or as part of an exercise vacation for our members out of town. The cost for our in person member to add 1:1 sessions for 5 days is $750. For more details on the exercise vacation, click here.
We have an anti-freeze exercise program that includes 2 1:1 sessions with a physical therapy per week, and 2 exercise classes per week for 5 weeks. So a total of 10 1:1 sessions (also including an assessment at the first and last session) and 10 classes. The cost of this program $1750.
